The Earliest Depiction of The Brain
One of a series of five drawings found in a number of Eastern and Western medical manuscripts which are believed to be copied from a much earlier source – possibly in Alexandria circa 300 BC. The insert shows possibly the earliest depiction of the brain (Figure 1) [1].
